# Chat with your iPhone

The chat panel sits next to the phone mirror. Type a request, such as *Turn on Dark Mode in Settings*, and an agent carries it out on the iPhone while the panel shows each tool call it makes. Toggle the panel with **⌘L**.

## Choose an agent [#choose-an-agent]

The chat runs on your own Claude subscription, ChatGPT subscription (via Codex) or OpenRouter API key; [Use your own AI account](/get-started/accounts) sets each one up. An agent that isn't set up yet offers **Sign In** or **Add API Key** right in the chat.

The model picker under the message box lists every connected agent's models together, and **More models** searches OpenRouter's full catalog. Reasoning effort sits beside it. Switching to another agent starts a new chat.

## What the chat agent can do [#what-the-chat-agent-can-do]

The chat agent works through Zeptap's [iPhone tools](/agents/tools) alone; the Mac's shell, files and web stay out of its reach. It follows the same rules as any connected agent, including asking before it sends, buys or deletes anything.
