# Zeptap documentation

> Zeptap is a macOS app that mirrors a real iPhone over USB and lets AI agents control it (tap, type, swipe, read the screen) through a local MCP server. This manual covers setup, the built-in chat on the user's own Claude, ChatGPT or OpenRouter account, connecting an agent, every MCP tool, account-warmup playbooks, and troubleshooting. Every page is also available as markdown by appending `.md` to its URL, or by requesting it with `Accept: text/markdown`.

The MCP endpoint is http://127.0.0.1:47801/mcp (Streamable HTTP, loopback only, no auth). It exists only while the Zeptap app is running on the same Mac. Download the app: https://github.com/Saransh29/zeptap-releases/releases/latest/download/Zeptap.dmg.
