# Debug console

> A plain-text command port on 127.0.0.1:47800 for inspecting connection state, logs and raw input while developing or debugging Zeptap.

Zeptap listens for one-line text commands on `127.0.0.1:47800` (loopback only). It is for debugging Zeptap itself; agents should use the [MCP tools](/agents/tools).

## Common commands [#common-commands]

| `help`                   | Every command                                              |
| `status`                 | Bluetooth, screen and pairing state                        |
| `log [n]`                | The last `n` Bluetooth events (default 40)                 |
| `applog [n]`             | The last `n` app log lines (default 40)                    |
| `paired`                 | The paired iPhones                                         |
| `advertise`              | Makes the Mac discoverable, for pairing a new iPhone       |
| `connect`                | Reconnects Bluetooth                                       |
| `screen` / `screenreset` | Screen capture state / restarts the capture                |
| `shot [path]`            | Saves the current frame as PNG (default `/tmp/zeptap.png`) |

Raw input commands (`tap`, `drag`, `type`, `key`, `home`, `back`, …) take coordinates from 0 to 1 rather than screenshot pixels. Run `help` for their arguments.
